Lowering the Flag: Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day 2025

The national, provincial, Treaty Six, Métis Nation and university flags are flying at half-mast from November 8 - 12, 2025 to mark Indigenous Veterans Day (November 8) and Remembrance Day (November 11).

November 8
To mark Indigenous Veterans Day
A day of remembrance and commemoration of the contributions and sacrifices made by
First Nations, Inuit and Métis in service to Canada.

November 11
To mark Remembrance Day and honour all Canadians who have served their country in times of war.
