Represent Your University at Open House
Become an Open House Ambassador
Open House, the U of A’s largest recruitment event, welcomes thousands of guests to campus each year. Ambassadors are integral to this event by:
- Welcoming guests to campus
- Guiding guests to various locations
- Registering guests for events
- Answering questions about Open House
- Sharing the best of the U of A
- Creating an exceptional Open House experience
All current students are welcome to apply to be an Open House ambassador, regardless of any previous experience with Open House or the U of A Ambassador Program. To apply for this opportunity, you must be available on the following dates:
Open House Training: Friday, Oct. 16 from 5 - 8 p.m.
Open House: Saturday, Oct. 17 from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The application deadline is at the end of the day on Sept. 20, 2026.

Through campus tours, student panels and helping at Open House, it is easy to see the important role of Ambassadors as a part of the public face of the U of A.
Applications for North Campus Ambassadors for the 2026-2027 academic year are now closed.
However, if you are a returning student who loves meeting new people and making an impact on campus, we'd love to hear from you! Please express your interest for next year's program or apply to be an Open House Ambassador for 2026.
