Human Research Ethics
All research involving human participants, their data and/or their biological samples, conducted by staff or students of the University of Alberta or one of our affiliated Institutions, or involving resources/ facilities of the University of affiliated Institutions, must be reviewed and approved by one of the University's Research Ethics Boards (REBs) before the research starts.
