For each candidate, faculties must submit a nomination committee report (NCR) for review and approval by College Deans and VPRO

February 2, 2026 to April 2, 2026

Approved nominees will be notified and faculties begin working on applications

April 27, 2026

DRAFT #1: Please combine all electronic application files into one pdf for the first internal review. Please have multiple internal researchers available to review your entire application package and supply comments within a two-week period (i.e., by April 15, 2026). Send pdf file to Glen Thomas (crcadmin@ualberta.ca) when ready for review.

May 6, 2026

Results of the first internal review returned to applicants.

May 19, 2026

DRAFT: A complete Impact+ application package is ready. Please update all electronic files (on the Convergence Portal) for internal review and decision by the President’s Advisory Committee for Senior Academic Appointments (PACSAA). Notify Glen Thomas (crcadmin@ualberta.ca) when files are completed and uploaded.

June 22, 2026

Approved nominations: Please complete any requested revisions to the forms and upload the revised attachments to the Convergence Portal by this date. This is your final copy. Glen Thomas will obtain the Provost's approval on the nominations and prepare them for final submission.

June 29, 2026

Impact+ Application Deadline: In cooperation with the Provost’s Office, Glen Thomas will submit approved nominations electronically (on the Convergence Portal) to the Secretariat (Ottawa).
